Inside the grand liberty staircase leads to the first floor where you can find seven wonderful large halls with their precious original stucco, tempera and fresco decorations( the wonderful trompe-d’oeil in the octagonal hall and the winter garden, a late 19th century structure in iron and glass.
Outside, there are large spaces surrounded by huge ficus magnolia trees with their typical aerial roots which enable the successful organization of any kind of shows or receptions. The charming atmosphere of the villa has conquered in time, famous international artist who got the ideal inspiration for the creation of seats and artistic productions. Among there Vittorio De Sica who set some scenes of "The journey ( 1974 )" and Klaus Maria Brandauer ( 1994 ) who shot his first film as a director in Villa Scalea. The charming sceneries of the villa are still chosen for photographic services, film sets, advertising spots by many national and international production agencies.
